1877. Tax on loans for rice-growing. Typo in Paris. Paper bears sheet watermark LA CROIX FRERES, twice per sheet. The initial issue was the rose shade. A different color was probably issued each year, but the dates or even the order is not known. Valuations are nominal. Type II appear scarcer than Type I. Probably all values were printed for all colors, but all these stamps are rare, and not all may still exist today.
Type I: Neat printing, width of stamp 37+mm. Ornament below pyramid at top left of monogram is upright. Only perf 13½.
Type II: Patchy printing, width of stamp just below 37mm. Ornament below pyramid at top left of monogram slants to left. Various Perf 11½, 12, or 12½ x 12.
